  John West Group with Edgar Hopkins

This is the first of 2 pictures of Edgar Hopkins - Bass; and Ron - Piano. (Please notice the very fine head of hair.)

John West is on vibes and Dave Fowler plays drums. This photo was taken about the time of the
"A Train" gig but it is with the John West Group.

We ran 2 jazz clubs one in Twickenham and another in West Hampstead when all the great professional players came down and played with us.

 

    Sadly Edgar passed away in 2005
