  John West Group with Edgar Hopkins

This is the first of 2 pictures of Edgar Hopkins - Bass; and Ron - Piano. (Please notice the very fine head of hair.)

Also with John West on alto sax and Dave Fowler on drums. This photo was taken about the time of the "A Train" gig but it is with the John West Group.

We ran 2 jazz clubs one in Twickenham and another in West Hampstead when all the great professional players came down and played with us.

 

    Unfortunately we have now lost touch with Edgar.
